We are officially ONE DAY away from Auburn football.
The Auburn Tigers and Baylor Bears kick off Saturday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, and it's time to make some BOLD predictions.
And if some of these come true?
Auburn could make a pretty massive statement in Alex Golesh's first game.
Brad Law starts us off with a prediction of 45 rushing attempts for Auburn.
Considering how heavily Golesh leaned on the running game during his time at USF, that might not be as crazy as it sounds.
Then Daryl Dapprich takes it even further.
If Baylor gives Auburn a light box defensively, could Byrum Brown and the Tigers' running backs help Auburn pile up 250 yards on the ground?
That would completely change this football game.
I've got a couple predictions of my own.
How about THREE different Auburn running backs finding the end zone?
Jeremiah Cobb.
Omar Mabson.
Bryson Washington.
Then let's get even bolder on defense.
Could Auburn force three Baylor turnovers?
And I'm calling for Jared Smith to introduce himself in a BIG way with THREE sacks.
Finally, Kyle Rush takes us into the fourth quarter with maybe the best possible scenario for Auburn fans:
Tristan Tia throws a touchdown pass.
Because if we're watching Tia get meaningful fourth-quarter reps inside Mercedes-Benz Stadium, there's a pretty good chance Auburn has already taken care of business.
We're almost there.
Auburn. Baylor.
Saturday in Atlanta.
Drop YOUR bold prediction for the game in the comments.
